Only Up! is a brutal test of patience and precision where one wrong move can send you crashing all the way back to square one. The entire game is just you, your ability to time jumps correctly, and a sky full of weird floating platforms stacked in the most frustrating way possible. There’s no safety net, no checkpoints, no mercy—just endless climbing and the constant risk of losing everything in an instant.

Every step is a gamble. Some platforms are solid, others tilt when you land, and a few feel like they exist just to mess with you. The higher you go, the worse it gets—smaller ledges, trickier angles, and jumps that demand absolute precision. One small mistake? Boom, straight back down. And trust me, the pain of watching hours of progress vanish in seconds never gets any easier.

How to Play Only Up!

Movement is simple—run, jump, and pray you don’t slip. Your character has momentum, so stopping on a dime isn’t always an option. Every jump needs to be calculated, and if you get careless, you’ll regret it fast. There’s no reset button, no second chances—if you fall, you climb back up from wherever you land.

Speedrunners thrive on mastering the fastest routes, but for most players, the goal is just to get higher than last time. The game will test your patience, probably make you rage, and definitely make you question your life choices. But if you can survive the struggle, that feeling of finally reaching new heights is unmatched. Or, you know, you could just give up. That’s an option too.
