Move the numbered tiles across the board and merge them to create bigger numbers. When two tiles with the same value touch, they combine into one, doubling their number. The goal? Reach the legendary 2048 tile before the board fills up. Every move shifts all tiles in that direction, and a new tile, usually a 2 or a 4, randomly appears, making it harder to control the board.

Strategy is everything in 2048. Some players like to keep their highest number in one corner, building up a neat stack, but one bad move can ruin everything. Others spread numbers around to keep their options open, but that can backfire when space runs out. Managing where new tiles spawn and planning ahead are the keys to survival. Run out of moves, and it's game over.

Scoring isn’t just about reaching 2048—you can keep going past that, merging up to 4096, 8192, or even beyond if you're skilled (or lucky) enough.
